All Platforms Installation

The following steps describe the installation procedure of Syncro SVN Client, valid for all supported platforms:
  1. Create a folder named syncroSVNClient on your local disk.
  2. In the syncroSVNClient folder, create a child folder named after the version number of Syncro SVN Client.
    The directory structure is /../syncroSVNClient/ 8.1/ .
  3. Download the All Platforms Installation package ( syncroSVNClient.tar.gz ) to this folder.
  4. Extract the archive to the same folder.
  5. From a command line, run the following scripts: syncroSVNClient.bat on Windows, syncroSVNClientMac.sh on Mac OS X, and syncroSVNClient.sh on Unix / Linux.
    Note:
    To change the version of the Java Virtual Machine that runs the application, go to the Java command at the end of the script file and specify the full path to the Java executable of the desired JVM version, for example:
    "C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0\bin\java" -Xmx256m -Dsun.java2d.noddraw=true ...
    on Windows, or
    /System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/1.6.0/Home/bin/java "-Xdock:name=SyncroSVNClient" ...
    on Mac OS X.
    Note:

    You must have installed a Java virtual machine 1.6.0 or later.

    Note:

    Copy to clipboard the license key you have received by email and paste it in the application license dialog.
