Mac OS X Installation

The following steps describe the installation procedure of Syncro SVN Client, valid for Mac OS X:
  1. Create a folder named syncroSVNClient on your local disk.
  2. In the syncroSVNClient folder, create a child folder named after the version number of the application.

    The folder structure is /../syncroSVNClient/ 8.1/ .

  3. Download the Mac OS X Installation package ( syncroSVNClient.zip ) and copy it in this folder.
  4. Extract the archive in the same folder.
  5. Execute the syncroSVNClient file.
    Note:

Syncro SVN Client uses the first JVM from the list of preferred JVM versions, set on your Mac computer, that has the version number 1.6.0 or newer. To change the version of the Java Virtual Machine that runs the application, go to Applications -> Utilities -> Java -> Java Preferences and drag the new JVM version up in the list of preferred versions.

    Note:

The compressed file should be recognized by StuffIt Expander and should automatically be expanded after downloading. If it is not expanded, you can expand it manually using StuffIt Expander 6.0 or newer.

    Note:

Enter the license key you received by email in the application license dialog.

    Note:

To avoid an unpredictable behavior of the cursor, use a fixed-size font, for example Monaco. Here you can find more details about this.
